Sir,
I regret to have to report with reference to the concluding portion of our letter No.15 of the 25th January last that The Navy Employment Agency has been unable to secure candidates for appointment as Water Police in Hong Kong.
We are now communicating with the Metropolitan Police Force in the hopes of obtaining men from the Thames Water Police division of that force.
